Terms of Service

Effective September 23, 2026. Applies to https://dod.astroslounge.com and its pages, including Sanctuary, user pages, the wiki, and the map.

Welcome to Astro's Lounge Gaming Community ("Astro's Lounge", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service are the rules for https://dod.astroslounge.com (the "site"), including Sanctuary, user pages, the wiki, the map, and the editor. This site is part of Astro's Lounge. By accessing or using it, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The site is free. It has been part of a community that has been ad-free and self-funded since 2022. Nothing here is a paid product or a promise of support.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using the site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms. Making an account or signing in is the same agreement. The main Astro's Lounge site has its own community terms. These terms govern this site. Where both apply, the rule that is stricter about safety, age, or your content is the one you must follow.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this site, and able to form a binding contract where you live. Discord requires users to be at least 13, and this site does not knowingly take personal information from anyone under 13. If you are in the EU or UK and under 16, or under your country's lower digital-consent age, do not make an account unless a parent or guardian agrees. See the Privacy Policy. You must follow Discord's rules when you sign in. You may not use the site if we already ended your access.

If you are a minor who is still old enough to use the site, you must keep your behavior appropriate. If you use the site for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization. You are responsible for anyone who uses the site through your account.

3. The site is unofficial

Sanctuary, the wiki, and the map are fan-made. They are not made, endorsed, or sponsored by the developers or publishers of Day of Dragons, Dragons Legacy, or any other game. Game names and game art belong to their owners. Guides, pins, and rosters can be wrong or out of date. Do not treat them as official rules or as advice you should rely on.

3.1 The license we give you

We give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the site for its normal purpose. You may not copy the site's code, design, or private areas, resell access, frame the site to replace it, or use it to build a competing service. That license lasts only while you are allowed to use the site under section 13. All rights we do not expressly give you stay with Astro's Lounge or with the people who own that material.

4. User conduct

Respectful behavior. Treat other people with respect. Do not harass, discriminate, or post hate or attacks based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristic.

Content restrictions. Do not share or promote anything illegal, anything that violates someone else's rights, or anything sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate. Do not post sexual content involving anyone under 18, or anything that sexually exploits a minor. We may determine whether content is appropriate for the site.

Impersonation. Do not impersonate another person, keeper, sanctuary, entity, or Astro's Lounge staff, and do not pretend a guide or roster is official.

Security. You are responsible for your Discord login and your page. Do not share account access or do anything that compromises the site or another user. Text (920) 279-9244 if you think someone else is using your page.

Cooperation. Cooperate with moderators or administrators when they ask for information about a possible break of these terms or another community problem.

False rumors. Do not spread false rumors or misinformation, including deliberately wrong map locations, quests, or roster data meant to mislead players.

Accountability. You are responsible for what you do here. What happens if you break these terms is covered only in section 13. We may also cooperate with a lawful request that applies to us.

Do not:

• break the law, or post anything that sexually exploits a minor
• post sexual content involving anyone under 18, or ask a minor for personal or sexual information
• harass, threaten, stalk, or dox someone, or post their private contact, location, credentials, or real-world identity
• post hate, slurs, or content that attacks someone for who they are
• impersonate another person, keeper, sanctuary, staff member, or the game's developers
• pretend a guide, map pin, or roster is official when it is not
• upload malware, phishing pages, or anything meant to steal an account or device
• probe, scan, scrape in a way that degrades the site, overload it, or bypass access controls, private pages, or bans
• use bots or scripts to submit content, create accounts, or pull data unless we allowed it
• make a new account or page to get around a removal or block
• use the site to send spam, chain messages, or misleading links
• sell or trade game accounts, currency, items, boosting, or anything else we did not ask you to sell
• advertise unrelated products, servers, or discords in a way that crowds out the page
• submit content you do not have rights to, including copied guides, art, or someone else's roster
• post another person's private sanctuary, notes, or messages
• deliberately post false locations, quests, or roster data to mislead other players
• interfere with another keeper's page, edit, or request
• use the site for anything illegal where you live or where the site is hosted

5. Community use

Use the site responsibly and do not disrupt other people. Do not hack, cheat, overload the site, or distribute malicious software. Do not use the site for anything illegal where you live or where the site is hosted.

6. CDN and uploads

Do not use Astro's Lounge storage, CDN, or uploads as a host for your own content somewhere else. That includes direct-linking or embedding images or files from this site or from Astro's Lounge on other websites, forums, or apps. Official styles, assets, and scripts stay on our sites.

If you break this, we may permanently ban your account id, invalidate tokens for that account, and block the device used for the violation. We do not store IP addresses, and we do not keep an IP ban list.

7. API keys

Do not sell, share, or abuse an API key from Astro's Lounge. Keys are only for the API or service they were issued for. Selling, sharing, or misusing a key can end your account and your access.

8. Our material

All official styles, assets, and scripts on the site are copyrighted to astroslounge.com. That includes the layout, CSS, design, icons and images we supply, original text we write, and the JavaScript and other code that runs the pages. © 2022-2026 Astro's Lounge - Gaming Community. The site and its content are for your personal, non-commercial use. You may view it and share a normal link. You may not download, copy, reproduce, modify, store, archive, publicly display, redistribute, or commercially exploit our styles, assets, or scripts without prior written consent, except the ordinary display your browser makes to read a page. Do not remove or change copyright notices. User posts are not this copyright. Day of Dragons and Dragons Legacy material belongs to its owners.

If you believe a page uses your copyrighted work without permission, text (920) 279-9244 with the page address, what the work is, and how we can tell you are the owner or the owner's agent. We may remove it while we look. This is not a statement that we are a registered copyright agent.

9. Your content

You keep ownership of text, rosters, images, and edits you submit. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display, publish, cache, back up, and distribute that content only as needed to run, protect, and show the site, including public pages you choose to publish. This license lasts until you delete the content or we delete it, and for a reasonable wind-down after that for backups and caches. You promise you have the rights to it, that it does not include someone else's private information, and that it does not break these terms or anyone else's rights. Where the law allows, you waive any moral-rights claim that would stop us from formatting or displaying that content on the site.

Public pages can be viewed, linked, and cached by anyone. You can mark a landing page private. Roster and wiki content you leave public stays public until you change or delete it. We do not have to screen content before it goes up, and we do not promise to store it forever. If you send a suggestion about the site itself, we may use that idea without paying you or naming you.

Content we supply is checked on our side. We cannot promise that a file another user uploaded is free of viruses or other harmful things. You are responsible for checking anything you download.

10. Accounts

Signing in with Discord opens your sanctuary profile. We may rename, hide, or remove a page address that impersonates someone, breaks these terms, or uses a reserved name. You can ask us to delete the account by texting (920) 279-9244.

By making an account, or by signing in to one you already have, you waive the right to sue us, our operators, and our hosts over the site, your page, your content, downtime, lost data, or anything the site does or fails to do. You also waive any right to a jury and any right to bring or join a class, collective, or representative action, as far as the law allows. If a law says a particular claim cannot be waived, that claim is the only exception.

11. Requesting your files

This section is only about files from Astro's Lounge game servers, such as a copy of your own save, character, or server log tied to your account. It is not a request for sanctuary pages, wiki edits, or map data on this site. Those stay under the Privacy Policy, and you can ask about them at any time by texting (920) 279-9244.

Only the owner of the game account may ask, and only by texting (920) 279-9244. We may ask you to prove the account is yours before we send anything.

We will not send game-server files if you have had a ban or a warning in the previous 12 months. Those files can show other players and how the server was run, and we do not hand them to someone who was recently banned or warned. A clean 12 months is the condition for that request. It does not apply to a request for your own account or personal data, which you may make at any time.

We may still deny a game-server file request if the account does not appear to be yours, or if we reasonably think the files would be used to harm someone, evade a punishment, or break these terms.

12. Other services

Discord, Steam, browser push, fonts, and Cloudflare hosting are other companies with their own terms. A link does not mean we run that service. If you add a Steam id, you ask us to look up that public profile as described in the Privacy Policy. Push notifications are optional. You may not use the analytics dashboard unless we gave you access.

13. Termination

This is the only rule for ending access. We may suspend or end an account, close a page, remove content, or block access at any time, without prior notice, for a break of these terms or for any other reason we consider appropriate. We do not have to warn you first, keep a copy for you, or explain the decision. A warning is optional, not a step we owe you. You may stop using the site at any time. When access ends, the license in section 3.1 ends with it. Sections that should survive still apply, including copyright, your content license, conduct rules, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, the lawsuit waiver, and disputes.

14. Disclaimer of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim every warranty, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, title, non-infringement, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, quiet enjoyment, and any warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or error-free. Game information is community-maintained. We do not warrant that a guide, map pin, roster, name, or statistic is correct. You accept the risks of using it, including data loss, interruptions, lost progress, and wrong information. Some places do not allow those disclaimers, so they apply only as far as they legally can. You use the site at your own risk.

The site is free. We are not paid to run it, and hosting it does not create a duty to pay you. To the fullest extent the law allows, Astro's Lounge, its administrators, and its hosts are not liable for any damages of any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost data, lost progress, lost profits, downtime, personal injury, or emotional distress, whether from contract, tort, or any other theory, even if we were told it might happen. We do not owe refunds, credits, damages, or other payments, because the site does not charge any. Your only remedy is to stop using the site. If a law does not allow a total bar, our total liability for a claim related to the site is zero dollars, because you paid nothing to use it, except where that law requires a different number. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for harm that a law says cannot be limited.

14.1 Indemnity

You will defend and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable costs that come from your content, your use of the site, your account, or your break of these terms, including a claim that your content infringed someone else's rights. We may, but do not have to, take part in the defense. This section applies as far as the law allows.

15. Privacy

Our privacy policy for this site is at dod.astroslounge.com/privacy. The main community privacy policy is at astroslounge.com/Privacy-Policy. By using the site, you agree to the practices described for the service you are using. Questions about your information on this site must be sent by text to (920) 279-9244.

16. Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after the new effective date is acceptance of the new terms. If you have an account and you do not agree, stop using the site and text (920) 279-9244 to ask for deletion. The current date is September 23, 2026.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America. Disputes about these terms or the site are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in the United States, except where a consumer-protection law that cannot be waived lets you bring a claim at home.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy about the site, these terms, or the Privacy Policy must be sent by text to (920) 279-9244 before you file anything, and you must give us 30 days after that text to try to resolve it. You must start any claim within one year after it arose, or it is permanently barred, unless a law says that limit cannot apply. The lawsuit waiver in the Accounts section is part of this agreement. Where a law does not allow that waiver, the rest of these terms still apply. You and we both waive trial by jury as far as the law allows.

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about this site. They replace earlier understandings about the same subject. If a court holds one part unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, and that part is cut back to the smallest change that makes it enforceable. A failure or delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. A waiver must be written to count. We may assign these terms. You may not assign them without our agreement. There are no third-party beneficiaries. We are not liable for a failure caused by a thing outside our reasonable control, including a host outage, a Discord or Steam outage, or a change in the game. Section headings are for convenience only. The word "including" means "including without limitation."

Notices from you about these terms must be sent by text to (920) 279-9244. We may give notices by posting them on the site. Posting a new version is enough notice of a change.
